The Alliance for Innovation and Infrastructure (Aii) is proud to announce the launch of its Third Annual Student Op-Ed Scholarship Contest, inviting college students nationwide to engage thoughtfully with pressing infrastructure challenges. The contest is open to all undergraduate and graduate programs in the United States, with students using their creativity and knowledge to help solve real-world problems across the country.
What’s New in Year Three
Building on the success of previous competitions, this year Aii introduces a new prompt aimed at sparking innovative thinking around infrastructure policy and forward-looking solutions. With $5,000 awarded to the grand prize winner, the scholarship continues to reward excellence in public policy writing and advocacy.
The contest prompt for 2025 is: How can we leverage innovation across at least two unrelated industries to solve today’s infrastructure challenges?
Key contest details:
- Grand Prize: $5,000
- Article: Max 900 words.
- Deadline: December 5, 2025, 11:59 pm EST.
