About

The National Infrastructure Safety Foundation (NISF) is a non-partisan entity organized as a 501(c)(4) non-profit. Our mission is to develop and promote rational public policies and best practices aimed at achieving innovative safety and efficiency solutions for national infrastructure systems and projects.

The Foundation is one of two members that form the Alliance for Innovation and Infrastructure, and we encourage public and community engagement and education.

Consistent with our obligations to provide transparency, the Foundation makes our recently filed annual information returns, as well as the organization’s application for tax-exemption, available to the public upon request. Please direct any inquiries to info@aii.org or you may call us for more information. Find us on GuideStar or other public indices.

Work With NISF Today!

You can advance our research and educational mission by bringing issues and policies to our attention. We take the nonpartisan, data-driven information from our nonprofit and use it to advance innovative solutions for real world issues.

The National Infrastructure Safety Foundation is a nonpartisan, non-industry-specific third-party validator of innovative solutions. When we see a policy, best practice, or technology that improves safety, efficiency, or adds value, we begin a deep dive inquiry. Working in conjunction with our educational organization the Public Institute for Facility Safety, we get the facts and produced unbiased research.

Then we see what type of issue advocacy may be necessary to make the world a safer place. We are not a lobbying group, but when we see policy that needs to change or an opening for real improvements, we get to work elevating the issue through policy briefs, white papers, media appearances, and informational content on our website and social media.
